Safety and Wellness Protocols

NOV 2-5, 2025  MIAMI

Conference Safety and Security

The safety and well-being of our conference community remain our top priority. NMSDC continues to work closely with local law enforcement, professional security partners, and legal counsel to ensure a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for everyone attending.

While no organization can control actions taken by federal or state authorities, including U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), we are committed to acting in accordance with the law and upholding the dignity and safety of all participants.

As with all aspects of our security planning, we do not share specific operational details publicly to protect the effectiveness of our protocols and help ensure that every attendee can focus on a positive conference experience.

Onsite Safety Measures

To ensure a safe and secure event experience, we are taking additional precautions throughout the conference:

  • Visible security personnel will be stationed at key areas throughout the venue.

  • Please keep your ID with you at all times. An ID is required to enter the convention center.

  • For your safety, remove your event badge when walking outside the venue.

In Case of Emergency

  • If you have an emergency, please call 911 immediately.

  • If you have a security concern, alert a uniformed security officer or call 305-205-5235.
