Session Proposal Categories

We will be accepting proposals in the following categories:
  • Economies of Connection:
    • Submissions should focus on cultivating a sense of personal and interpersonal connection. The premise is that whether you're an MBE, corporate executive, or government official, we are still human - high performance starts with personal wholeness.
    • Sample Topics: personal well-being, physical & mental health, the loneliness crisis and impact on professional spaces, healthy relationships in family businesses, etc.
  • Economies of Innovation:
    • Submissions should focus on using emerging technology to create new economic opportunities, like Uber's role in the advent of the gig economy (new tools giving birth to new industries).
    • Sample Topics: generative AI and agentic capability, blockchain, privacy & cybersecurity, sustainability, etc.
  • Economies of Unity:
    • Submissions should focus on building economic strength for all stakeholders through partnerships. Whether through NGOs and government agencies, or family members pooling resources to grow a business, collective economics is a force multiplier for growth.
    • Sample Topics: MBE partnerships/teaming, advocacy group partnerships, public-private partnerships, international expansion, reaching across the aisle for mutual economic benefit.
  • Economies of Knowledge:
    • Submissions should focus on the simple concept of "knowledge is power". Whether it is gleaned from performance indicators or informal networks of influence, knowledge is critical for success. Additionally, demonstration of knowledge is a key to unlocking opportunity and connecting with key stakeholders.
    • Sample Topics: leveraging data for performance, learning the procurement landscape and its systems, MBEs selling to corporations based on high performance, etc.
  • Economies of Innovation:
    • Submissions should focus on empowering attendees to provide stability and direction to their organizations in the current political, social, and economic climate.
    • Sample Topics: staying true to a clear vision in uncertainty, consistent messaging while strategically repositioning, taking decisive action in a volatile environment, etc.

Proposal submission closed June 6, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Selected speakers will be notified by the end of July.
